Splendid is the culmination of founder Moise Emquies' extensive
efforts to create the ultimate t-shirt. After an exhaustive ten year
search, Emquies discovered the right combination of fabrics which he
then used to fashion the perfect t-shirt. In 2002, Emquies launched a full t-shirt collection with nine basic bodies which has since transformed into an extensive collection of tanks,dresses, thermals, shorts and more. Clean, simple and effortless best describe the aesthetic of the line, which can be seen on some of the most famous women in the world including Gwyneth Paltrow, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kirsten Dunst, Cameron Diaz, and Julia Roberts. Each season the Splendid team strives to find the softest and most luxurious fabrics to use in the creation of their pieces, as well as new ways to expand the Splendid line. They did just that in the summer of 2005, with the introduction of Splendid Littles, a collection for babies, and Splendid Mills, for men. Splendid is sold at high-end department stores and boutiques including Scoop, Barneys and Fred Segal. |
